Hi people, I'm back from India 1 week ago....

But i have one piece of Superb Good News to Share!!!

I've FINALLY GRADUATED n can Get outta NTU!!!!!!!!

Finally....... I can step into the working world......

Alrighty, i gotta wake up at 3.45am later coz i needa reach airport by 5am!! Gosh! I doubt i would be able to sleep well later...

Yup people, i am still going ahead to India... One of my dear fren is already there, n she said that it's very safe in Bangalore. So frens, do not worry!!! =) But my poor fren, fell really sick the moment she arrived in India...Hope she'll recover soon when I arrived....

Sigh... Dunno why... I do not feel excited at all about this trip... N this time round, i gotta be away for so so long - 16 days!!!!

I'm SO SO SO gonna MISS my jianwen, my family n my dear frens... Sigh....

But since i've decided to join this trip, i should go with an open mind and enjoy the trip, coz i feel, it would be a fufilling one and i believe i'll learn from this expedition and come back a better person (I hope.. Hee!).

N when i'm back, i'll be super busy!!!! Coz i'll be having my surgery on the 22nd dec! 2 days after i come back from India... N i'll attend the Xmas parties with swollen n bruised eyes... Boo!!! So dont be alarmed when my bruised eyes k?

Yup, think i gotta catch some rest/sleep...

World Peace!!!!!

My New Pet!!!

This handsome dog is my new pet! Actually, Toby is jianwen's pet dog...

But it can also considered to be mine la... Haha...

This poor dog, juz had a massive operation to remove 2 lumps on his thighs and the test results of the lumps are out, it's not good....

Sigh....

I just hope everything will be ok now... N i hope Toby's huge wound would heal faster so we can bring him to see another vet for a 2nd opinion and decide what to do next...

Haiz.... Jianwen n his family really takes very good care and dotes on Toby alot... Jw's mommy even treats Toby like her 2nd son...

But Toby is a strong boy, n i'm sure he will okay soon...

I just hope that things will turn out fine, and toby will heal in no time....

Now everywhere seems so unsafe to go... Mumbai has bombing n Bkk has riots...

N i'm leaving to India, Bangalore soon, but will transit in Mumbai... Hmmm.... I wonder will my trip be cancelled or not... N next yr jan, i'm going Thailand. Looking at current situation, it seems that whatever is happening in bkk now would probably dragged on till next yr...

This Rat Year seems quite bad....

Sigh.... I think now it's safest to stay home in spore.

Though it's disheartening to see bad news popping up every now and then, but I'm quite happy to say: My EXAMS are OVER!!!!! I only sat for 2 papers this sem, but only one paper I'm quite confident of clearing, which is unexpectedly Structures 1. My wastewater paper is abit uncertain, coz it is a yr 3 ENE core, which mean, the ENE ppl are damn zai, n the bell curve will shift up... SIANZ.... I really hope i can grad this time round. Coz i've spent too much time n money in pursuing this honour-less degree, studying a course which i hv no interest in....

The economy is so bad now that i feel, i've graduated at the very wrong timing... I think i've been pretty suay this yr... Nothing seems to go very smoothly for me....

- Tried SQ for 3 times but still cannot get in....

- PAcked 9 freaking modules + FYP last sem, hoping to clear all n grad in time with my peers but i couldn't make it....

- Experienced a breakup which made me shed quite alot of tears, but i'm glad both of us had moved on....

- Graduated at the very wrong timing...

- No graduation trip....

But But But, outta so many Suay-ness events that happened to me, i still feel very fortunate n blessed. Firstly, I finally passed my driving and earned my license after 3 attepmts. Yeah!!

Secondly, though i did had a breakup after a rather long r/s, i've found the man who loves me more than anyone else and treats me like a priceless gem, showering me with lotsa TLC and is one sensitive man who is attentive to my feelings, thoughts and needs.

He is also the man who planned a really lovely birthday surprise for me earlier this month, when i had already forgetten how birthdays should be celebrated, esp mine, coz it falls during exam period for countless years.

N he is the 1st guy who cooks for me, and i'm not referring to only maggie mee, but olive oil garlic spaghetti with prawns n more to come!! He never fails to put a smile on my face and I really feel so blessed to have him loving me like this. =)

So afterall, I think i am one very very lucky gal! hAhA! What more can I ask for??? =)

Thanks to everyone for my 3days consecutive non-stop birthday celebrations.

From monday to tuesday, I had the most fantabulous and magnificent celebration with my baby.... Really n truely felt very blessed!! I couldn't stop smiling to myself the entire day when i was out with you...

Tuesday nite was cake-cutting with my family, n after that was a Mahjong session with peiqi and suling. How can i exclude Mahjong on my birthday when i am "supposed" to be the lucky one?? Haha... Though i never win money(lost $2), but still, my gals were here with me till the last few seconds of my birthday.... ThanX suling for the YummiLicious self-made Orea Cheese cake which u had specially prepared for me, n peiqi, for bringing my loots back from japan!!! =) Love u gals!!!

Wednesday was out with my Lamilei Gang! Haha... U gals never fail to celebrate my birthday each yr, even in the midst of exams or now when u guys started working, u guys never forget abt me!!! Haha... Thank you gals so so much!! The Lamilei Gang Rocks~~~~

Now my birthday was over and the bd mood had subsided, it's back to reality...
Gotta put my ass down, start my mugging engine going and study real hard.
But it's very hard trying to concentrate, coz I felt really happy now, as i am so so fortunate to have such a wonderful family n many great frens who are always here for me.
Not to mention, a man who loves me n treats me like a priceless gem... =)

Hey peeps, my Bangalore trip is confirmed!! Yeah!!! I am so excited!!!!

So now, we're doing a fund raising, selling tees which motivational quotes printed on it.

The price range should be abt SDG$20-$25, not confirmed yet as we are in the process of sourcing good quality tee n printing them.

P/S: Exams are coming in 3 weeks time. My parents n frens have been bugging me to start studying.... Sigh... I cant wait to get outta ntu and start working n earn my own money!!!! But i think it's so hard to find a job nowadays... Future seems so bleak.... =(

Oh juz a little update:
I am going to South India, Bangalore from 4th-2oth Dec.
This is a volunteery project organised by Youth Expedition Project, under National Youth Council.
We will be going there to work with children saved from the streets, and will be building them a small library, teach them some simple english and implement some basic PE into their daily lives.
This is such a meaningful and enriching project which i am very proud to be part of it.

So yup, currently, only 11 people (including me, suling n eric) are able to make it for this trip.
We need 4 more ppl to make it a nice number of 15 or more, but under 20, to be able to get the maximum grant from NYC. =)
So people, if u guys are interested, i strongly encouraged U to come forward n join us in this coming trip and contribute back to the society.

I am so looking forward to this trip in dec! Coz i think i wont hv the chance to go on such volunteery trips to the developing countires again when i start work proper, as it's so hard to apply 16days of leave in one shot...

Most importantly, we can help to bring those innocent smiles back to the children once again....

I felt very relaxed n happy, totally enjoyed myself throughout the day.... =)

Simply just by lying on beach, baking under the sun, listening to the waves, enjoying the seabreeze, munching on Subway n J.Co donuts, people&dog-watching, cam-whoring, talking, watching the sunset....

Simplicity is a bliss...

N i'm so glad that i've found such a GREAT company who loves doing the things that i love too~~

My New HairCut...

Alrighty, i went to cut my hair yesterday...

I think the hairstylist likes to perform his skills on me, that's why he keeps suggesting me to cut really short hair... Saying that i should experiment with different hairstyles when i am still young n my face shape can take short hair...

He chopped off my already quite short hair into this latest look of mine...

Fringe, back, sides are all really SHORT! Nothing but SHORT!!!!

I know some of u guys, esp ah wee n gang might say i resemble someone (Pe**y)...

BUT PLS, dont say my current hair look like her..... COZ i dont think i look like her at all, even with this haircut!!!

Yup... So far, my frens complimented tt i look quite edgy n cool in this new look...

Anyway... I am graduating soon. But it's so hard to find a job right now.

I think there's a high possibility that i will find an engineering company n work there, since it seems that only the civil/construction industry is doing fine...

Sigh... The future seems very bleak..... =(

Hooked to prawning - this is one of the many prawning sessions that we enjoyed.... It's a great place to hang out with close frens, gossips n prawn!! =)

The 9 of us caught a whopping 50plus, almost 60 live n jumping prawns! After that, we bbq-ed them all n ate them! haha....

It has been ages since i went chinese garden during Lantern Festival though i live so near....

It was quite fun carrying lantern n looking at the Hello Kitty themed lanterns... But after too much of kitty, i got abit bored... Haha..

But it's a nice experience, walking ard the garden, basking in the Mooncake Festival and enjoying the moonlight.... =)
